Saveria Dimasi

Special Counsel

I’m a lawyer and business executive with a dynamic range of expertise across higher education, industry, and government sectors.

Before joining Dexterity Law, I was the General Counsel at one of Australia’s leading universities and I’ve held senior executive roles at a number of universities.

I’ve also held senior legal roles, including as General Counsel, in the private sector.

Example matters that I’ve helped my clients with include:

  • negotiating a major PPP contract to fund the development of life sciences research in Victoria;

  • funding research and commercialising and protecting intellectual property;

  • implementing a new capital planning framework; and

  • developing the governance framework for a world-renowned research institute.

In addition, I have expertise in employment, administrative and consumer law.
